5 Not-So-Spooky Fall Adventures Around Orlando With Kids ๐Ÿ‚

Yโ€™all, we love a good fall adventure, but weโ€™re keeping the scares to a minimum over here.

Give us the candy, cute characters and festive fun, without anybody having nightmares later.

Our trick-or-treating usually happens at the theme parks and family events we already love. And when weโ€™re home? Itโ€™s spooky crafts, themed snacks and finding little ways to make an ordinary afternoon feel special.

So if youโ€™re looking for not-so-scary Halloween events in Orlando with kids, Iโ€™ve got five spots Iโ€™d send my mom friends to. Think family-friendly fall activities, fun photo opportunities and just enough spooky to make October exciting.

Micahโ€™s Memo: Before You Go

Best for: Families with toddlers, preschoolers and younger kids.

The vibe: More festive than frightening.

Where: Orlando, International Drive and Winter Haven.

Budget tip: Check your annual passes and current ticket offers before purchasing admission.

Florida mom reminder: October is still HOT. Bring water, comfortable shoes and a change of clothes.

1. SeaWorld Spooktacular โ€” For the Theme Park-Loving Family

SeaWorld has been one of our family favorites since the kids were little, and I love when we can enjoy our usual attractions with a little seasonal fun mixed in.

During SeaWorld Orlandoโ€™s Halloween Spooktacular, families can enjoy trick-or-treating, colorful characters and kid-friendly Halloween entertainment.

We also tried the Hotel Transylvania Monster Breakfast, which added a fun little extra to our morning.

The deets:

  • Where: 7007 Sea World Drive, Orlando, FL 32821
  • When: Select dates through November 1, 2026
  • Admission: Seasonal activities included with eligible park admission; some extras cost more

Micahโ€™s tip: Donโ€™t spend the entire day chasing Halloween activities. Mix in your familyโ€™s favorite rides and animal experiences.

2. LEGOLAND Brick-or-Treat โ€” For the LEGO Lovers

If your kids love LEGOs, this is such a fun way to enjoy Halloween without the scary stuff.

LEGOLAND Floridaโ€™s Brick-or-Treat brings LEGO-themed Halloween characters, trick-or-treating and seasonal entertainment into an already busy theme park.

And my biggest piece of advice? Donโ€™t try to do everything.

Pick a few must-do attractions, enjoy the Halloween activities and leave some room for the kids to just play.

The deets:

  • Where: 1 LEGOLAND Way, Winter Haven, FL 33884
  • When: Select dates through November 1, 2026
  • Admission: Included with eligible park admission

Micahโ€™s tip: Make a short list of priorities before you arrive. The park is bigger than you think!

3. Crayola Screaminโ€™ Green Hauntoween โ€” For the Creative Kids

Crafts, colors, Halloween activities and air conditioning?

Girl, yes.

Crayola Experience Orlandoโ€™s Screaminโ€™ Green Hauntoween is a great option for families looking for indoor Halloween activities with kids.

The seasonal fun is mixed into the regular hands-on Crayola attractions, so the kids can create, explore and enjoy a little trick-or-treating on select days.

The deets:

  • Where: 8001 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32809
  • When: Through November 1, 2026
  • Admission: Included with regular admission; some activities may cost extra

Micahโ€™s tip: Save this one for a rainy day or when you need a break from the Florida heat.

4. Peppaโ€™s Halloween Party โ€” For the Little-Little Kids

This one is especially cute for toddlers and preschoolers.

Peppa Pig Theme Park Floridaโ€™s Halloween Party doesnโ€™t completely transform the park, and honestly, I think thatโ€™s part of its charm.

You still have the gentle rides, playgrounds and familiar Peppa experiences, with Halloween decorations, trick-or-treating, character moments and themed episodes in the indoor cinema.

The kids had a great time, and the provided candy bags were a nice touch.

The deets:

  • Where: 1 LEGOLAND Way, Winter Haven, FL 33884
  • When: Select dates through October 31, 2026
  • Admission: Halloween activities included with eligible park admission

Micahโ€™s tip: Bring swimsuits for the Muddy Puddles Splash Pad. Seriously. October in Florida does not care about your fall outfit.

5. SEA LIFE Pirates of the Haunted Seas โ€” For the Little Explorers

Not every fall adventure needs pumpkins and hayrides.

SEA LIFE Orlandoโ€™s Pirates of the Haunted Seas gives families a pirate-themed twist on a visit to the aquarium, with underwater creatures and seasonal activities.

Itโ€™s a fun option to consider if your kids love ocean animals or youโ€™re looking for indoor things to do in Orlando during October.

The deets:

  • Where: 8449 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819
  • When: Weekends through November 1, 2026
  • Admission: Included with eligible aquarium admission; check current ticket offers

Micahโ€™s tip: This is one Iโ€™d consider pairing with another activity around ICON Park if youโ€™re making a day of it.

A Little Fall Fun Goes a Long Way

Hereโ€™s your reminder that you donโ€™t have to visit every event or fill every weekend to make memories with your kids.

Pick what works for your family, reuse those costumes and enjoy the season youโ€™re in.

And weโ€™re just getting started! We usually save November for more of the pumpkin patches, farms and traditional fall activities around Orlando, so weโ€™ll be sharing those adventures soon, too.

Because around here, fall fun doesnโ€™t end when October does. ๐Ÿ‚
